Plainview Hospital is a 239-bed acute care community hospital that treats patients with a wide range of medical, surgical, pediatric, obstetric and gynecological conditions. The hospital has an active same-day surgery program, and an extremely busy Emergency Department, which features a Chest Pain Emergency Room. The latter is a separate area where patients with cardiac complaints are immediately assessed. Plainview Hospital is also the site of one of the Don Monti Cancer Centers. "Suite Beginnings" offers LDRPs, or labor-delivery-recovery-postpartum suites, which make the entire birth experience more personal and comfortable for the entire family.
