Tricia Kingdon, M.S., is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt attained after completing the GE (Healthcare) training. Her primary role is to facilitate significant quality, process and performance improvement activities using Six Sigma methodologies and tools at Memorial Herman The Woodlands campus. The ultimate goal is to drive change in collaboration with hospital leaders. She has worked for Memorial Hermann Healthcare System in Houston, Texas since 2005.
Kingdon’s career includes working in health care for 29 years in which the majority was as a department director. She spent 13 years of her career with The Moses Cone Health System in Greensboro, North Carolina, responsible for Health Information Management, Quality and Risk Management departments. From 1998-2005 she was Director of Quality and Medical Staff Services at Spring Branch Medical Center in Houston, Texas. Her initial position with Memorial Hermann was Director of Healthcare Improvement at the Northwest Hospital campus where she was instrumental in deploying Six Sigma at this facility. During her tenure in health care, Kingdon has coordinated numerous process improvement initiatives working with leaders to identify root causes and development/implementation of solutions to address the primary cause.
Kingdon holds a Masters degree in Healthcare Administration from Texas Woman’s University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Record Administration from Louisiana Tech University. She and her husband Dave have two children, Ross and Kelly.
