Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center is an academic medical center that includes the Wake Forest University School of Medicine and North Carolina Baptist Hospital. The Medical Center includes a comprehensive pediatric service, Brenner Children’s Hospital, as well as one of the nation’s 40 Comprehensive Cancer Centers so designated by the National Cancer Institute.  Wake Forest Baptist is an internationally known research leader with noted strengths in regenerative medicine, imaging, cancer, the neurosciences, heart disease, kidney disease and racial health disparities.
